Today we are going to continue our journey around the Spanish wine revolution. We are going to focus on the Region of Valencia which is home to three major regions: D.O. Alicante, D.O. Utiel-Requena and D.O. Valencia. These are old regions which traditionally made a living by selling wine in bulk both domestically and internationally. It was the law of quantity over quality. The potential, though was always there, and the three regions have managed to turn things around dramatically in the past few years. Amnd that’s good news for us!
